Year 2 visited West Midlands Safari Park today. The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring Lemur Woods in the African Village, where playful ring-tailed lemurs leapt through the trees above our heads. We also walked along the African Walking Trail and reached the viewpoint, where we spotted a herd of giraffes. It was such a special moment to see them up close!

On Wednesday 16th July, we are holding our " Go Green for Louie" Day in honour of 16 year old Louie Williams, an ex pupil, who sadly passed away last month. Please support us by sending your child into school on this day, wearing as much green as possible and, if you are able to, a cash donation to go towards his Go Fund Me page. Louie was passionate about caring for the planet and, as a school, we would love to teach children about his dreams of protecting the Amazon Rain Forest and help raise funds to preserve a piece of the forest in his name. For more details, please refer to the email sent home yesterday and take a look at his Go Fund Me page, that explains more about Louie and his dreams to "Fight like the forest" Thank you!
